Wow it has been awhile. I'm back in San Diego for Christmas break and sooooooo glad that finals are finally over. Life is great right now! I have absolutly no complaints. I want to see all of you SD people before I go back to SLO.

So, today I was feeling a little stressed. I had to much to do and ready to freak out (well i already was freaking out). I walked into the kitchin and noticed a pomagrate on the table. Ellen (my roommate) and I started eating it. She then had the fantastic idea to try and make the juice into lipstick (which didnt work...it ended up looking like blood) Soooooo we smeared it all over our teeth to make oursleves look like vampires. This game soon escalated into Ellan and I eating many seeds then pretending to hit each other and spit up blood. This totally made my night soo much more fun than it was going to be....plus we got it all on tape.

I am so sick of people who try to be different or off beat. It’s like they all revel in the fact that they “think” they are such a free thinking individual. They must spend so much time thinking up ways to word their thoughts or how to dress so people with think, “wow “so in so” is so creative…..what an individual”. They also must spend countless hours searching for new music or ideas that will make them stand out from the crowd. Maybe I’m just in a pessimistic mood, but these people are really obnoxious. They spend all their time gloating in their artwork or musical taste. I guess all I’m trying to say: if you are such an individual you shouldn’t have to repeatedly testify to others how off beat you are.

Haley’s pet peeves:
1. People who use the words “anywayS” (there is no S) and “funner”…..news flash, those are not REAL words.
2. Guys who revel in the fact that they THINK they can get any girl….…….news flash two…..most likely you can’t so stop thinking you can ahahah….these type of guys crack me up.
3. Guys who think that giving a girl a hug gives him the right to grope her up and down…. Note: many CYT guys are guilty of this. If you suspect you are one of these men…please get help soon.
4. People who are condescending. For example: girls who call you sweetie even though you are older than them…..weirded out!!!!!!!!!!
5. People, especially LAME kids who SPLASH you in the pool. I hate....so don't do it!!!

I leave for SLO in two weeks. The summer has really flown by.....and that's both a good and bad thing. I am really anxious to get back to school and break in my new house.
Being back in SD has been weird. I spent a whole year setting up my life on my own and just as soon as things were getting really comfortable I had to come back to SD for summer. I am just really antsy to get back and pick up where I left off, but there are certain things I dont want to "pick up" when I get back. The summer is such a good time to reflect on the year gone by and really analyze what makes you happy. Summer really puts things into perspective.
I was watching Oprah today...they were finding America's Most Romantic Man. It really made me excited to see that really amazing guys ARE out there and nobody should settle for less. How boring, pointless, and draining is it to be with someone who you are always mad at, were always wishing would act different, or would even treat like you want to be treated.

Well....I have not updated in a long time, but someone is making me (ahah). Not too much is going on.....work and rehearsal mostly. I went to the incubus concert with Emily on Sunday. Let me just say, BRANDON BOYD you will be mine!!!!!!!!!!! The show is going really well. I go back to school in 3 weeks, so for all of you who love me you must see me before i go...mmmk
OHHHHH I must not forget....MIKE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY...I SUCK....YOU ARE THE BEST....and I will make it up to you..wink wink

Sometimes it seems like things that could potentially be really good in my life are things I have had to walk away from. Its kinda disheartening, but I suppose it all comes with the age. Nothing and nobody is stationary at this time in ours lives. I establish feelings for situations and people and have to leave them. Goodgrief.....life is not easy haha.
Anyway....I have been having a lot of fun with people lately. I also got a Kitten yesterday....hands down...cutest thing alive. Help me find a cute name. So far i'm thinking.....Charlie, Sammy, and Calvin.

The last few days have been really fun! Today I went to the beach/pool and watched one of the best movies to quote ...EMPIRE RECORDS! I've been pretty satisfide with life, but much to my chagrin I am still guilty of thinking too much.
On Wednesday my family and I are going to Laguna Beach for a couple days. I'm really excited to hang out with my family, get henna tattoos, spend time at the beach, and get a new toe ring at the Sawdust Festival (Note: all the above can be done in Laguna, but i'n sure you put that together on your own.)
Well, well.....what else is there to say...OH yes. Raise your hand if romantic movies sometimes piss you off!! Most of the time i'm so into them, but other time I think..........gosh darn this better happen is real life or else i'm gonna be PISSED.
